We get asked these questions all the time. Maybe this will answer your question and save you some time on planning your event.

How much are your cakes?

Our cakes are as individual as the people ordering them. Pricing is determined on a cake-by-cake basis, by the complexity of the design. Once you have figured out roughly what you want the cake(s) to look like and how many people you need to feed, we can give you a pretty accurate price estimate. After a consultation we will give you an exact price of your cake.

How do I order a cake?

Our studio is open by appointment only; we do not have any cakes pre-made for sale. Every cake we make is custom handcrafted to order from start to finish.

We typically need at least 3-4 weeks notice on wedding and large cake orders; 1-2 weeks notice on our smaller cakes.

If you are looking for a wedding cake, get together the flavors, date and time of your wedding, how many people you expect to attend the reception, the location of the reception, contact information and give us a call or drop us an email. We will contact you to schedule a consulting appointment. At your appointment, we will get to know you, your event, layout your cake, and have some cake samples to try.

If you are looking for a birthday or special occasion cake, think of what would be fun, creative, and a statement of the occasion/person you are getting the cake for. After you have an idea of what you’d like, give us a call or an email of what you have in mind and how many people you need to feed and we’ll put together a price quote and contract for you.

How do I make an appointment?

Tasting/Design appointments are held for wedding and larger cakes (over 60 people).

When you come to your appointment, please bring all relevant information regarding your wedding reception or special occasion. We have books with cake pictures for reference, however, it really helps to come having done your homework on what you want. Please bring any picture and design ideas you have to discuss with us and be prepared to have fun! You can bring whomever you’d like to the appointment, but remember we are a small shop. If a tasting is conducted you will have cake samples to take home for family and friends to try.

What’s your payment policy?

A 50% deposit is required to get you on the books; the remainder is due 1 week prior your event. Payment can be made by cash, check, or money order. Cakes orders placed with less than 1 weeks notice require payment in full at the time of ordering. Sorry at this time we do not take debit/credit cards.

Do you deliver?

Yes, delivery is available for wedding cakes, larger cakes, and cakes that require on-site assembly.

Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled and are figured on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum charge is $15.00.

All other cakes are picked up at our studio, unless otherwise arranged.

How far do you deliver?

At this time we have a range of 2 hours from our Riverview, Florida location. This covers most of the Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Polk counties of Florida. Other areas are available for delivery upon request at an additional charge on a location-by-location basis. 

Do you ship your cakes?

We do not ship cakes or any of our items, no exceptions.

Can I come to your shop to watch you work?

We have a very small, busy shop. Every cake we make is custom handcrafted to order; it doesn’t leave us with much time to visit.

No offense, but, we can’t have people just popping in to the shop.
